ايطالي الجنسية غير محدد بدقة تاريخ ولادته اما 1509 او 1512 لكن تاريخ وفاته هو 1571
كان ثالث المؤسسين الايطاليين الذين دعوا لمدرسة لالزينة في الرسم " مدرسة Fontainebleau* "
* تعتبر هذه المدرسة علامة لمؤرخي الفن وتستعمل للاشارة إلى مجموعة من الفنانين الذين استعملوا نفس النمط في الرسم .
كان سابقا يشار غليهم على انهم رواد مدرسة بوادران " Paduan " لكن هذا الاسم كان فقط للايطاليين ولا يضم سوى ايطاليين الجنسية
الذين ابتعوا هذه المدرسة على حد خاص ومحدود .
استخدم سكان فرنسا من ملوك القرن السادس عشر هذه المدرسة في الزينة .
كان تعمل هذه المدرسة على تصوير المناظر الطبيعية المستقلة وللتصوير المجرد والمستقل .

Niccol? dell’Abate was the third of
the Italian founders of the so-called
*School of Fontainebleau. These painters
were employed in the decoration of
the Chateau of Fontainebleau, the main
country residence of the kings of France
in the 16th century.
At Fontainebleau Niccol? was chiefly
occupied painting *fresco decorations,
under the supervision of Primaticcio.
He also executed independent landscapes,
such as The Story of Aristaeus in
the Collection.

رسمت هذه اللوحة على الجنفاص بأبعاد ( 189،2 × 237،5) وقدمت عام 1941 من قبل منظمة N.A.C.F
في منتصف اللوحة نلاحظ في حيوانات برية ذات صفات سحرية
في المقدمة اليسرى ثلاث حوريات غافلة " ليست منتبهة " لهجوم الراعي Aristaeus .
في المركز نجد ان الثعبان يعض الزوجة لتموت .
هذا يشير إلى تعلق Aristaeus بامه Cyrene . التي اعتبر ان قاتلها هو إله البحر Proteus
تم رسم هذه اللوحة ي فرنسا حيث عمل نيكولو عام 1552

In the middle distance Orpheus charms wild animals; in the
left foreground three nymphs
are unaware of the assault by
the shepherd Aristaeus on the virtue of Eurydice, Orpheus’
wife; centre, the serpent bites
her, and right, she dies; further right, Aristaeus consults his mother Cyrene concerning
the death of his bees.
On the extreme right is the sea-god Proteus who explained
to Aristaeus that the disaster in
the hives was a punishment
for the pursuit of Eurydice.
For his subject see Virgil, Georgics
(Book 4). It was probably painted
in France where Niccolò worked from 1552 onwards.
