Jesus' opinion was direct and obvious concerning marriage and divorce:
''It was also said, 'Whoever divorces his wife must give her a bill of divorce.'
But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. ''

so the issue is not a matter of discussion...
BUT if anyone is not convinced with the concept of the christian marriage he shouldn't be obliged to get married in a church...he can have a civil marriage (which is not allowed in our countries...and this is bad)

so do we just have to live with it in the middle east?

divorced women don't necessarily commit adultery and by saying that whoever marries a divoreced women commits adultery is judging the woman for the rest of her life... I dont understand how jessu can say such a thing while he himself defended the whore>>> which was known to be a whore and not just a divorced woman


have a civil marriage is not the answer. many people sill would like be christian and have a christian wedding... middle eastern churchs should do some reforms in this matter

الكثير من الناس, مع علمهم بقانون الطلاق الظالم, قد يرغبون بالزواج الكنسي. فالحل ليس بان نقول لهم ان يتزوجوا مدنيا, و هو أصلا زواج غير موجود في بلادنا, بل ان تقوم الكنائس ببعض الاصلاحات... و عجبي انها لا تقوم بذلك ما دام الشباب على ما يبدو لا يعارضون القانون و لا يرون فيه شيئا قديما متخلفا
