Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues who have been actively supporting us in
Lebanon,
At 1:00 AM this Sunday morning of July 30, 2006, Lebanon woke up to the
horror of another Israelimassacre that took place in the infamous village
of Qana in South Lebanon......the same village which 10 years ago witnessed
another similar massacre of women and children sheltering in the UN
compound.
Officialy the Israeli Army claims to have struck a Hizbullah target in Qana.
Actually they have bombed a very primitive shelter containing over 63
Lebanese civilians (over 22 children, the rest were women, old aged,
handicapped) most of whom are still burried under rubble.
Till now 55 burned and ripped bodies of children and women have been removed
from the rubble. The innocent civilians who were massacred today had no
means of fleeing to safer areas in Lebanon because all roads were blocked by
the Israeli bombings.........The UN soldiers were not even allowed by the
Israelis to bring their equipment to move the rubble and remove the bodies
or to even evacuate the traumatized and wounded survivors from the area.
IN CONCLUSION :
Israel after failing millitarily in all its battles with Hizbullah fighters
has turned its millitary wrath on all sorts of civilian targets in Lebanon.
After bridges, roads, public buildings , media stations, hospitals the IDF
has now turned its millitary power against innocent, unarmed and defenseless
civilians of whom more then 750 have been murdrered .
Henceforth the war on terror in Lebanon is in short :
Israeli helicopters against Lebanese children
Israeli tanks against Lebanese mothers and women
Israeli gunships against Lebanese old folks
Israeli artillery against Lebanese disabled folks
The only thing more horrifying then these massacres is the official
international silence
Whoever you are . Wherever you are help break this wall of silence around
all the war crimes perpetrated against the innocent civilian population of
Lebanon.
